About the position Allyn International is in search of an Entry-Level Global Trade Compliance Specialist to grow reputed company our Trade Department in our Greenville, SC location. What does a Global Trade Compliance Specialist do? The Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support the import and export compliance needs of clients, such as answering broker requests, classifying items according to Harmonized Tariff, researching import and export requirements such as Partner Government Agency restrictions, coordinating reputed company shipment clearance, and auditing entries. The GTC Specialist will work together with reputed company and under the guidance of a Licensed Customs Broker to meet clients’ needs while also ensuring compliance with governmental regulations. Position Details: Location: Greenville, SC Position/Classification: Full-Time; Exempt, Entry level Compensation: $45,000-48,000 annually Hours of Work: Regular business hours, Monday-Friday Physical Demands: Sitting, typing, carrying, and climbing stairs Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity Employer Responsibilities • Manage reputed company’s customs brokers to ensure compliant, efficient, and cost-effective entry of goods.
