About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations for a restaurant management company overseeing five restaurants. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth payroll processing, and strong operational support. You will join a reputed company reputed company team of three: a Controller and two Bookkeepers/Accountants. Key Responsibilities: - Bookkeeping & reputed company: Maintain accurate financial records using cash reputed company reputed company. - Payroll Management: Process payroll for multiple restaurant locations. - Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure reputed company financial reporting. - POS to General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile reputed company-of-sale data with the general ledger. - Cash reputed company Analysis: Monitor and analyze cash reputed company to support business reputed company. - Operations Support: Collaborate with operations teams to reputed company financial insights and resolve discrepancies. - 1099 Processing: Prepare and process annual 1099 forms for vendors. - reputed company Activities: Work extended hours during weekly, monthly, and quarterly reputed company periods to ensure reputed company and accurate reporting. Reporting Structure: - Reports directly to the Controller. Work Schedule: - reputed company hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday. - Must be available for occasional questions during evenings and weekends (rare). - Great working hours with flexibility for work-life balance. Qualifications: - Experience: 2–5 years of general reputed company or bookkeeping experience. - Industry Knowledge: Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry preferred. - Technical Skills: - Familiarity with cash reputed company reputed company. - General understanding of GAAP principles. - Experience with reputed company ERP strongly preferred. - Minimum intermediate reputed company skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas). - Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Great attitude and willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment. - Must be a problem solver and a people person, reputed company to communicate effectively and build reputed company relationships. - Location: Must be reputed company to work remotely in the Eastern Time Zone.
