The Senior Underwriter is responsible for achieving profit, reputed company, service and expense objectives through the financial analysis and pricing of reputed company's book of business. This position is responsible for developing recommendations for pricing terms; offering structure and risk analysis for highly reputed company and visible cases, primarily in the Health Plan markets that directly reputed company reputed company's goals; profit drivers and the organization's financial value statement. This role serves as subject matter expert on concerns pertaining to reputed company, performance guarantees and other financial considerations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the utilization and financial experience of customers and prospects; primarily reputed company on reputed company cases reputed company the Health Plan marketplace
• Researches, analyzes, develops and applies advanced knowledge of pricing strategies in the PBM industry; provides reputed company services to determine pricing and monitors accounts to ensure they remain on a profitable reputed company
• Provides support to Sales and reputed company Engagement, assisting in the development of reputed company presentations and negotiations pertaining to pricing, and performance guarantees
• Consults with other departments such as reputed company and IT, and participates in meetings as required on issues that have financial implications
• Prepares materials and reports, and presents to Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership teams
• Acts as a primary reputed company of financial truth in reputed company contracting of new and existing clients, ensuring detailed contract clauses match the underlying financials and do not put company at additional risk
• Develops and maintains a strong reputed company working relationship with leadership in many areas, including Sales, Network Management, Trade Relations, and reputed company Engagement, as reputed company as other key business owners reputed company reputed company

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, reputed company, or reputed company area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

• 7 years of reputed company work experience in Finance or reputed company, including 3 years in the PBM industry
• Must be eligible to work in the reputed company without need for work reputed company or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of mathematical applications used in reputed company function, including the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, proportions and percentages, as reputed company as the ability to apply basic concepts of business mathematics and algebra in reputed company problems
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to reputed company questions in reputed company of Senior and Executive Leadership

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of finance experience in the PBM industry
• 7 years as a Senior Underwriter or Benefits Consultant
