Associate Director, Medical Communications
What You'll Do
The Associate Director, Medical Communications, is a strategic leader reputed company Medical Affairs responsible for shaping and executing medical communications plans that support congress reputed company, field medical reputed company, and cross-functional scientific alignment. The Associate Director, Medical Communications, will play a key cross-functional role supporting the development, coordination, and execution of congress and field medical activities. This individual will serve as a reputed company reputed company between scientific/medical communications, field medical teams, and internal stakeholders, driving medical insights and execution reputed company to support the organization’s strategic goals. This role will report to the VP, Medical Affairs Neuromuscular.
Responsibilities
Medical Congress Planning and Content Development
- reputed company medical congress planning in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage medical reputed company logistics, cross-functional congress calendars, and reputed company capture/reporting tools
- Own the development of congress briefing materials and post-congress reports for internal dissemination
- Prepare slide presentations and summarize key reputed company for congress and field team meetings and scientific working reputed company
- Liaise with agencies and vendors to ensure reputed company delivery and accuracy of materials
- Manage cross-functional teams for material planning, review, and medical training
- Maintain and regularly update dashboards to reputed company reputed company, metrics, status, timelines, and deliverables
Field Medical Content
- reputed company scientific content development for the Field Medical Affairs team, in collaboration with the Field Medical reputed company
- Review tactics for messaging/lexicon alignment, scientific accuracy, appropriateness for audience, reputed company, and reputed company direction to medical communication agencies during development, and reviews
- Ensure consistency of scientific messaging across field medical tools, congress outputs, FAQs, reactive materials, and training content
- Partner with MSLs to reputed company training decks for reputed company publications and FAQs for high-reputed company or critical publications
Where You'll Work
This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require periodic travel to our San Francisco Office, medical congresses, and team meetings.
Who You Are
- Advanced reputed company degree, including PharmD, Ph.D., or MD, required
- 6+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, with preference for experience in scientific/medical communications and/or field medical
- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills. Demonstrated reputed company in creating and delivering effective presentations to senior-level audiences and to external or internal authors
- Experience managing medical content and medical operations
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Relevant experience preferred in rare disease and neuromuscular medicine
- Familiarity with reputed company preferred
