Title: National Wholesale Buying Manager
Location: Remote, some travel

Reports To: Executive Director of Supplier Management

Position reputed company:

The National Wholesale Buying Manager is responsible for procurement of reputed company-party branded products for reputed company’s dispensaries. This position will manage reputed company national relationships and the performance of regional buyers. Responsibilities include driving cost reduction, maintaining inventory par reputed company, liaising with retail planning, and analyzing market/category/product level trends to ensure ideal assortment. This role will reputed company the development of reputed company supplier management processes and foster strong single-state and national relationships with vendors.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the buying process, including building assortments based on historical and reputed company product performance. analyzing business and managing inventory reputed company.

• Execute on strategies and initiatives as laid out by upper management.
• Process purchase orders and work directly with vendors on delivery and follow up.
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and warehouses as needed.
• Partner with Marketing, the Regional Product Analyst, and the Allocation team to meet product launch strategies and promotional activities.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors to protect margins and support promotional activity.
• Identify opportunities to drive sales and margin increases to maximize the business. 
  
  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 5+ years of buying experience required
• Cannabis industry experience preferred
