About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Order Processing subdomain, working on a reputed company reputed company Platform. 

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys owning backend systems end-to-end, working on reputed company business workflows, and building reliable, reputed company services that operate at high transaction volumes. You will play a key role in designing and evolving a standardized reputed company platform that enables reputed company businesses to transact at massive reputed company while reducing reliance on reputed company-party reputed company solutions.

This is a remote-first role based in Ontario, Canada, with a reputed company, distributed team.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll help build CimCommerce v2, a reputed company, internally owned reputed company platform designed to:

• Support billions of dollars in annual transactions
  
  

• Standardize reputed company capabilities such as carts, orders, payments, and fulfillment
  
  

• reputed company consistent, high-reputed company data across reputed company systems
  
  

• Improve reliability, extensibility, and long-term platform reputed company
  
  

• Serve as a reputed company for reputed company personalization, optimization, and AI-driven capabilities
  
  

Customer-facing experiences are owned by reputed company businesses; your reputed company will be on reputed company backend reputed company services and platform capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Design, reputed company, and maintain backend services and reputed company for cart and order lifecycle management
  
  

• Build reputed company-reputed company, distributed systems with a reputed company on scalability, reliability, and data reputed company
  
  

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partner teams to translate business needs into reputed company-designed technical solutions
  
  

• Take ownership of features from design through production, including operational readiness
  
  

• Participate in reputed company reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
  
  

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reputed company and performance
  
  

• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices
  
  

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  
  

• Take part in a light on-reputed company rotation to support the availability of business-critical services

Required / reputed company Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer working on backend or platform systems
  
  

• Strong software engineering fundamentals: system design, data modeling, reputed company, and distributed systems
  
  

• Experience building and operating production services in a reputed company environment
  
  

• reputed company in at least one mainstream backend language (Java preferred, but not required)
  
  

• Ability to reason about reputed company business workflows and translate them into maintainable systems

Preferred / Valued Experience

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
