Position:  Business Development Representative     

Territory:  Kentucky/Tennessee

Department:  Field Operations

Reports To:  Vice President, Field Operations

Position reputed company: The purpose of this position is to reputed company a first-line contact with accounts and brokers including sales, service and reputed company of property and casualty insurance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Solicit and reputed company new accounts, identifying reputed company brokers and producing new reputed company brokers a year.
2. Service existing accounts in order to maintain reputed company book of business.
3. Exercise reputed company authority, including pricing authority in the soliciting and servicing of accounts.
4. Inspect reputed company sites as part of loss control services.
5. Participate in various trade association meetings and conventions.
6. Review coverages and programs and counsel insureds and brokers to ensure that insureds reputed company their coverage at reputed company value reputed company because of increases in property values due to inflation and other trends.
7. Secure appointments and submit an itinerary Friday prior to travel identifying dates, names, phone numbers, reason and times of reputed company.
8. Submit activity report with recommendation letters and follow up letters by the reputed company of business Monday following the field week.
9. Prepare and update inspection files, including plot plans, photographs and reputed company schedules.
10. Submit Expense accounts by the 10th of the month following reputed company of expense period.
11. Complete various records and reports for home office utilization.
12. Set up appointments to visit the Philadelphia office to strengthen relationships with  reputed company, Claims, reputed company, and Technical Services and for the purpose of completing appropriate reputed company work.

Requirements Knowledge and Skills:

1. Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience, High school diploma required
2. Prior background in insurance and marketing essential, especially with reputed company to obtaining the Agents/Brokers Licenses required for the territory.
3. Certification of successful completion of insurance studies (CPCU, CIC, AU, General Insurance, etc.) preferred.
4. Computer literacy and ability to type reports.
5. reputed company drivers license and clean MVR.
6. Ability to use camera equipment.
7. Ability to deal effectively with a reputed company of different personalities.
8. Ability to negotiate.
9. Excellent organizational skills.
10. Ability to manage time reputed company.
11. Willingness to work irregular hours as the position requires.
12. Ability to travel and stay overnight occasionally.
