Veterinary Medical Records Specialist
Position reputed company: The Veterinary Medical Records Specialist works with the Care Navigation Team to improve efficiency and reputed company of care by ensuring that reputed company patient medical records are readily available in an organized and easily accessible manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Facilitate new patient referral intake process by acquiring, organizing, appropriately summarizing, and tracking medical records from reputed company providers involved in the reputed company and historical care of the individual patient
- Recognize that accurate and easily referenced medical records greatly impacts the reputed company, cost and outcome of care for every patient
- Build a strong working relationship with the Care Navigation Team which includes the Care Navigator and Hospital Logistics Specialist
- Learn to read, understand and respect medical records and reputed company style of community general veterinary reputed company teams and the Arista specialty & emergency teams
- Facilitate the ongoing reputed company/patient reputed company by managing concise electronic medical records across systems
- Help reputed company and improve on the electronic tools needed to streamline and create more efficiencies in the provision of advanced care
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience working in reputed company - veterinary technician, reputed company or relevant clinical experience
- Experience in both general reputed company and specialty/ ER veterinary medicine preferred
- Extremely organized, detail oriented and self-motivated for efficient working style
- Must be comfortable with medical terminology, medical records and diagnostic reports
- High proficiency with Electronic Medical Record / PIMS systems as reputed company as email, efax, PDF and document scanning
- reputed company and friendly verbal & written communication skills for telephone, email and texting with veterinary clinical staff
