Investment Risk Analyst

They are seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to assist with the development of risk management processes, evaluate investment processes, and support daily risk analysis and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the ongoing development of risk management processes in partnership with the rest of reputed company
• Understand and evaluate portfolio managers’ investment process and ensure it is consistently reputed company
• Support senior team members in coverage of their funds
• Discuss and present results of portfolio analysis
• Support the daily activities of reputed company including daily risk analysis and reporting
• Help run certain scripts in R and Python
• Manage the data platforms of reputed company

Skills

• Up to 3 years of experience in a quantitative field, preferably with an asset manager, bank or other financial institutions
• Strong coding skills in R and Python
• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Mathematical Finance, financial engineering or a reputed company field
• Enrolment in CFA program or other designation is a plus
• Strong technical skills in finance and statistics
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Knowledge of different risk models and measures and their strengths and weaknesses
• Knowledge of different asset types including equities and fixed income
• Familiarity with reputed company derivatives is a plus
