Staff Accountant

BCS Financial Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant responsible for preparing journal entries reputed company to reputed company activity and reinsurance statements. The role involves account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting annual reinsurance filings.

Responsibilities

• Record and journalize reputed company activity for assigned products
• Process reinsurance activity in accordance with contract terms, including tracking payables and recoverables in the Cash Application System
• Prepare general reputed company account reconciliations accurately and on time
• reputed company balance sheet and income statement variance analysis versus forecast and document key drivers
• Prepare quarterly reputed company reporting, including loss development schedules and losses by incurred year for assigned programs/products
• Prepare and reconcile quarterly analytics and support annual reinsurance filings
• Support system changes by completing required uploads and UAT testing for new product lines

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance or commensurate experience
• 1–2 years of statutory insurance reputed company experience preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance products and reputed company (A&H, Life, P&C)
• Proficiency with reputed company Office (especially reputed company)
• Strong reputed company in reputed company and statutory insurance reputed company requirements
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills; ability to meet strict deadlines
• Customer-service reputed company with the ability to work effectively with internal partners, vendors, auditors, intermediaries, and TPAs
• Experience with reputed company and reporting tools such as reputed company Fusion G/L, SmartView, Power BI, reputed company, reputed company, and eFreedom Annual Statement
• Demonstrated technical reputed company and reputed company-improvement reputed company, including automation/process improvement (e.g., Copilot/AI, VBA)
• Basic understanding of insurance operations and reinsurance reputed company is a plus
