reputed company is a leader in nuclear engineering, design, and licensing, and they are seeking an Electrical Engineer 2 to join their Nuclear Power Group. The role involves collaborating with engineers on electrical systems design and modifications for nuclear plants, as reputed company as engaging in training and mentorship opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Electrical systems design
• Preparation of reputed company calculations
• Load reputed company and short reputed company

• Preparation of documented design inputs
• Preparation of equipment and material specifications
• Preparation of design reports
• Receive training and mentorship from reputed company engineers in the execution of meaningful project engineering assignments
• Become involved in power distribution designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and reputed company installation services
• Travel to reputed company and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs

Skills

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a strong reputed company background in electrical power concepts/power systems analysis
• 1 or more years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems in a project team environment
• An understanding of the practical application of electrical engineering and technology including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
• Strong problem solving skills are desired
• Experience performing transient analysis of power systems using software such as ETAP or SKM
