[Remote] In-House Trial Attorney (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is one of the nation’s leading specialized insurers, and they are seeking an Associate reputed company Counsel to work in the San Diego, CA area. The ideal candidate will handle reputed company work on assigned cases, pursue files referred by the Claims Department, and maintain organized documentation throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Handles reputed company work on assigned cases
• Aggressively pursues files referred to Staff Counsel by the Claims Department
• Creates and maintains a documented reputed company for case handling in reputed company assigned case to include a synopsis of the intangible factors, i.e. the judge, plaintiff attorney, aggravating factors, etc
• Develops, organizes and maintains document files consisting of pleadings, briefs and memorandums
• Prepares and submits reputed company status reports to claims handlers on reputed company significant activities as they occur, but at no greater than 60-day intervals
• Ensures that reputed company files are properly documented and organized
• Provides reputed company and reputed company responses to reputed company telephone calls and correspondence
• Utilizes and/or ensures use of case management software for maintaining notes, diary, calendar, billing, etc., on cases assigned to Staff Counsel and in accordance with established Company operating guidelines, procedures and reputed company and ethical requirements / guidelines
• Performs reputed company other duties as assigned

Skills

• 1 year of experience as a trial attorney
• Member of the State Bar, while maintaining reputed company necessary licensing and continuing education requirements
• Required to travel as needed
• Handling of insurance defense work is preferred
