Test Stand Engineer

The Test Stand Engineer will define, install, and operate test rigs on gas turbine reputed company hardware and subsystems, ensuring reputed company operation and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and definition of new test rigs. Test rigs will vary in complexity and application across multiple test stands, and laboratories, and reputed company programs
• Responsible for setup and installation of test rigs
• Responsible for creating data collection reputed company
• Responsible for reputed company operation of test rigs and data collection
• Responsible for raw data interrogation and troubleshooting
• Responsible for repair and maintenance of test stand and laboratory spaces, including preservation

Skills

• Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 + years experience OR
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 1+ year of experience OR
• Master's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR
• JD/PhD
• Must be a US citizen to be considered for this role
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience

• Demonstrate written and oral communication to a reputed company of audiences
• Strong documentation skills and procedural improvement & compliance

• Experience with National Instruments LabView

• Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) license would be preferred
