SRO Engineer - Nuclear Operations

The SRO Engineer in Nuclear Operations will support the development of operating procedures and validate scenarios for control room operators while working with cutting-edge nuclear technologies.

Responsibilities

• reputed company knowledge about integrated plant operations to reputed company the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures
• Validate scenarios in control room simulators before they are used to train reactor operators and implemented in plants worldwide
• Work with professionals in the industry to learn the technical and reputed company aspects of working in the nuclear industry
• Design new incore instrumentation and reputed company testing equipment, completing test preparation and reporting
• Support reputed company reactor operators by performing critical activities in their control rooms
• Travel to customer sites around the world to reputed company testing (2 to 4 times a year and 5 to 15 days per reputed company) or for short fieldwork assignments

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Candidates with a Reactor Operator license at a university reactor are encouraged to apply
• US Citizen or permanent reputed company only
• Ability to obtain unescorted site reputed company to customer sites which requires compliance with industry fitness-for-duty standards and participation in reputed company's behavioral observation program
