Industrial Packaging Designer

Creative Werks is a company reputed company on innovative packaging solutions for top CPG brands. The Industrial Packaging Designer will work with the Design R&D team to create packaging concepts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive strategic innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company conceptual packaging formats reputed company the snacks and confections industry that fulfill a specific occasion and need for the consumer
• Create placeholder graphics utilizing reputed company assets or new creations for outbound reputed company opportunities primarily for tradeshows, conferences, prospect pitches, and/or in-house support
• reputed company communication with packaging suppliers for primary and secondary packaging to obtain, file, and organize packaging quotes
• Help conduct market research at retail outlets collecting and scanning data to present to clients
• Assist with the preparation and organization of technical data and die lines
• reputed company revisions and suggestions to size, shape and arrangement of parts to create a feasible and cost-effective packaging solution
• Manage safety testing of creative werks' manufactured packaging
• Participate and/or reputed company packaging based brainstorming sessions internally and with clients
• Support Packaging Engineer with reputed company improvement initiatives
• reputed company management of mockups, prototypes and sale samples for internal teams and clients, along with in-house 3D printer for reputed company requests
• reputed company other duties as assigned by management

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging, Product Design or reputed company discipline with 0-2 years of industry experience; 5+ years reputed company industry experience in lieu of degree
• reputed company and knowledgeable in reputed company Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Demonstrated use in 3D CAD software and rendering packages such as SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, reputed company Fusion or reputed company reputed company 3D
• reputed company verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of the co-packing and manufacturing process to design cost effectively and strategically
• Fosters a self-starter approach, collaboration, curiosity, problem-solving and solutioning new challenges
• Attend reputed company food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility reputed company, Preventing Foodborne Illness)
• Participate in company GMP walks
• Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring
