Underwriter OR reputed company Specialist - Group Captives

reputed company is seeking an Underwriter for their Group Captives Team in Schaumburg or US Remote. The role involves performing risk assessments, pricing on new business, and managing broker interactions while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performing reputed company risk assessments and pricing on new business
• reputed company renewal activities for captives assigned
• Attend reputed company meetings
• Help with the daily administrative requests that come in on policy maintenance
• Manage broker and captive consultant interactions
• Travel at least 15% or more internationally

Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Market Facing area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the reputed company and regulatory environment
• Knowledge of reputed company philosophy, techniques, national/local filing regulations and guidelines
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area
• Knowledge of line/s of business and the reputed company and regulatory guidelines
• Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
• Experience with reputed company Office
• Travel at least 15% or more internationally
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
