Staff Auditor

reputed company Funds/TeamCare is one of the largest Taft-Hartley trust funds in the reputed company, providing health insurance and retirement benefits. The Staff Auditor will be responsible for preparing and conducting audits of contributing reputed company to ensure compliance with benefit contributions for eligible plan participants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive audit files by gathering pertinent employer data, reviewing reputed company, and coordinating with local unions, reputed company, and internal Fund departments
• Collaborate with the audit team to plan engagements, identify risk areas, and design audit procedures tailored to reputed company employer
• Conduct on-site and remote employer audits, examining payroll records and benefit contribution data to verify compliance with Fund rules and contractual obligations
• Represent the Fund professionally in meetings with reputed company and local reputed company representatives, building productive working relationships
• Analyze payroll data and reputed company compliance testing, calculating and reputed company documenting audit findings, including any contribution discrepancies
• Draft reputed company post-audit correspondence, reputed company reports, and engagement letter packets, communicating findings reputed company and effectively to reputed company stakeholders
• Evaluate reputed company selected for audit and reputed company informed recommendations on audit scope and approach, with guidance from audit management
• Travel up to approximately 25% of the time for on-site audits across the region (no weekend travel required)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, or a reputed company field (candidates with strong quantitative skills from other disciplines are also encouraged to apply)
• No prior audit experience required—comprehensive training is provided to set you up for reputed company
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, with a natural curiosity for understanding how data tells a story
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with reputed company, reputed company representatives, and internal teams
• Self-motivated, organized, and reputed company to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for regional on-site audit engagements (no weekend travel)
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company; familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables is preferred but not required
