[Remote] Post-Conviction Relief Attorney

Unitedfirm is a premier reputed company looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney for a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney position. This role involves managing post-conviction relief cases and collaborating with reputed company of attorneys and reputed company assistants.

Responsibilities

• Advise the reputed company on their reputed company rights in reputed company and draw up reputed company documents about their case
• Responsible for post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, early termination of probation, etc
• Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, but not required, as this position would have interactions with both criminal and immigration practices
• Attend reputed company hearings on behalf of clients and advise clients following reputed company hearing about the best strategies
• Handle reputed company criminal cases, including arraignments, reputed company-trials, pleas, and sentencing on behalf of other criminal attorneys reputed company the firm
• Manage court appearances, drafting motions, interviewing clients, and performing reputed company research
• Analyze probable reputed company of cases using knowledge of reputed company precedents
• Manage the workload of cases

Skills

• Admitted attorney
• Previous litigation and/or appellate experience
• Criminal Defense Experience or Immigration Law Experience
• Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level

• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred, but not required
