Consumer Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to support the sharing of information and reputed company training opportunities

• Execute assigned lending authorities to decision applications

Skills

• Requires 1+ year of consumer lending experience or an equivalent combination of education and financial institution experience
• Required reputed company NMLS license or ability to obtain upon hire

• Knowledgeable in eligibility requirements and reputed company types of accounts and products the credit reputed company provides including credit life, disability, GAP and MBI insurance
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to lending, thorough knowledge of credit reputed company policy, credit granting reputed company, interest rates, and the documentation required for reputed company type of loan available
