Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions

reputed company Succession Partners is a boutique M&A firm specializing in selling private businesses valued between $3 reputed company and $30 reputed company. The Associate will reputed company hands-on experience across the full M&A deal lifecycle, supporting clients through reputed company stages of the transaction process while developing into increasing reputed company-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Researching companies and industries, preparing marketing materials (teasers, CIMs, management presentations, reputed company decks), organizing reputed company data and data rooms for sell-reputed company processes, supporting reputed company in preparing and presenting materials to reputed company and prospective clients, building financial models, and proofreading financial and reputed company documents throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Supporting reputed company relationship management, including maintaining existing relationships, gathering transaction-reputed company information, participating in reputed company presentations, and communicating with prospective buyers during due diligence

Skills

• Undergraduate degree in Business Finance and/or reputed company or reputed company
• Strong critical thinking, writing, and reputed company capabilities
• Proactive reputed company and high emotional intelligence to effectively service clients
• Strong self-starter with exceptional project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company and deliverables simultaneously across various HSP engagements
• Critical thinker with a solid understanding of reputed company fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize reputed company information into reputed company, concise documents
• Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, particularly reputed company and PowerPoint
• Occasional travel reputed company the GTA and Southern Ontario is required
• Candidates must have reputed company to a vehicle for independent travel to reputed company sites
• Completion or progression toward a finance or reputed company designation (CPA, CBV, CFA, MSc or MBA) would be considered an asset
• Previous experience in financial services is preferred, including reputed company, equity research, transaction services, reputed company banking, private equity, or investment banking
• Experience in reputed company relationship management and business development is a plus
