Production Designer

reputed company (FP) is a global affairs magazine and website seeking an early-career production designer to join their creative team. The role involves producing a reputed company of digital assets, including video, while adhering to FP brand guidelines, and supporting key partner divisions such as FP Analytics and FP Podcasts.

Responsibilities

• Creation of video clips optimized for reputed company media audiences, following and maintaining templates, and implementing platform best practices
• Flowing and formatting text, images, and graphics in our CMS and converting that into associated collateral
• Creation and iteration of materials across platforms, optimizing digital assets for use on our site, in ad positions, and in branded reputed company media
• Sourcing and organization of imagery to support visual communication across disciplines

Skills

• One year of reputed company experience at a media company preferred, but a recent graduate with strong internships will be considered
• Proficiency in reputed company Creative Suite products (especially Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat)
• A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of creative asset production with reputed company use of typographical hierarchy and logic while adhering to brand guidelines
• reputed company communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to parse and translate complicated information into understandable concepts and reader-friendly visuals
• Attention to detail and a reputed company record of project management
• An ability to learn new technologies and thoughtfully experiment with AI tools to streamline processes
