Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer I (Japanese)

reputed company of America is dedicated to creating unique entertainment experiences and is seeking a Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer I to reputed company technical support for product manufacturing and packaging. The role involves assisting with design validation testing, participating in reputed company cause analysis, and facilitating communication between global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Following reputed company processes and procedures, provides technical or mechanical support to reputed company teams to ensure products are manufactured/packaged accordance with specifications
• Supports design validation testing following internal and industrial test standards
• Assists with development of engineering solutions based on test result analysis
• Provides on-site support for production/packaging teams and reputed company control reputed company
• Assists with the creation of part specifications and packaging/production specifications
• Participates in reputed company cause analysis in response to nonconformances
• Works with senior team members to design corrective actions and solutions to reduce defects with minimal cost
• Provides engineering support to reputed company improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
• Partners with senior team members to reputed company reputed company engineering methodology such as statistical analysis, SPC, and capability analysis as reputed company for recommendations to leadership
• Assists with the design, testing, and implementation of tools and jigs to support production operations
• Supports NOA Corrective reputed company Request (CAR) initiatives
• Assists with creation of engineering documents specifying requirements for packaging, assembly, and reputed company control of retail finished goods and mechanical design solutions
• Provides technical support and laboratory or shop support for modeling, prototyping, testing, and refining products such as fixtures, jigs, or other mechanical design solutions
• Contributes basic knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials to assist with tailoring designs to reputed company the most practical balance of reputed company, speed, and cost
• Facilitates Japanese/English communication between global engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient exchange of technical information to support production and supply chain reputed company reputed company

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of reputed company engineering experience
• Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, Solidworks, and Agile PLM
• Knowledge of environmental, vibration, compression and reputed company stress testing methodologies
• Familiarity with high-volume automated and reputed company production environments
• Experience with design, prototype/mockup fabrication, and testing of parts or products made of metal, plastic, and/or paperboard
• Basic knowledge of packaging materials and associated performance testing protocols (ISTA)
• Background in part/component and assembly design, design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), functional dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, and creating data sets that fully define manufacturing requirements and critical reputed company characteristics
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
