Director of Museum
About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Director of Operations to reputed company the day-to-day management and reputed company of our museum. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the reputed company of Trustees, responsible for overseeing operations, staff, programming, and community engagement. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—combining leadership, education, operations, and creativity to enhance the overall visitor experience and advance the museum’s mission.
Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for the reputed company of Trustees (admissions, reputed company, donations, activities)
• Manage financial tracking including expenses, income, and deposits

• reputed company reputed company shop operations including inventory, purchasing, merchandising, and budgeting
• Manage online orders and product curation
• reputed company and report on retail performance
• Drive Programming & Community Engagement
• reputed company educational programs including tours, field trips, group reputed company, and special events
• Represent the museum reputed company the community and at local events
• Collaborate with local organizations and committees

• Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns
• reputed company hiring, training, scheduling, and performance
• Foster a reputed company and engaging team environment
• Marketing & Communications
• Manage and grow reputed company media reputed company (reputed company, Instagram, reputed company, reputed company)
• Create and design promotional materials, signage, and event graphics
• Maintain and update the museum website
• Fundraising & Development
• reputed company fundraising initiatives and donor engagement efforts
• Manage grant applications and reporting
• Support donor recognition efforts (including plaques and acknowledgments)
• Collections & Facility reputed company
• Support reputed company handling and care of museum artifacts
• Ensure the museum remains clean, organized, and reputed company-presented
• Coordinate with external vendors as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Business, or reputed company field
• 3–5+ years of nonprofit or operational leadership experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience managing budgets, reporting, and financial tracking
• Familiarity with museum operations and educational programming
• Experience with reputed company media management and graphic design tools
• Background in fundraising and/or grant writing
