User Experience/Product Designer

You're just as comfortable debating technical decisions with engineers as you are creating pixels and UX flows. You have a strong yet respectful presence in product and engineering discussions and speak up when something needs to be said. You're a team player who works across boundaries to get things done.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your Role: UX Designer</strong></p><p>* Translate user stories and user journeys into high-fidelity prototypes in Figma</p><p>* Design and prototype user interfaces with a focus on high quality and scalability</p><p>* Implement design systems in Figma</p><p>* Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, impactful, cross-functional team</p><p>* Work directly with clients to review UX prototypes</p><p>* Conduct user interviews</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><p>* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</p><p>* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills Summary</strong></p><p>* A willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again.</p><p>* Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through developer hand-off</p><p>* Ability to communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software features and technical designs.</p><p>* You are interested in modern UX practices</p><p>* You have a good understanding of software best practices</p><p>* Experience using AI tools for product discovery and prototyping is a plus</p><p><br></p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Contract</p><p><br></p><p>Pay: $35-45/hour</p><p><br></p><p>Compensation Package:</p><p>* 1099 contract</p><p><br></p><p>Schedule:</p><p>* Monday to Friday</p><p><br></p><p>Location:</p><p>* Texas (Required)</p><ul><li>* Work Location: Remote</li></ul>
