Trial Attorney

The role involves case ownership, participating in litigation events, and meeting with clients, while fostering a reputed company environment among attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation and other reputed company assignments in accordance with guidelines established by the Law Department
• Prepare and summarize reports for proceedings
• Trial reputed company and case development
• Attend litigation events including trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings

Skills

• 0-10+ years litigation experience, preferably in the reputed company areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, or workers compensation
• Experience as an Assistant reputed company Defender or District Attorney may be considered as reputed company
• Knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and applicable substantive law commensurate with level of experience
• Trial, mediation, and deposition experience
• File ownership
• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Working knowledge of a Case Management system
• Working Knowledge of a Document Storage system
• J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School with excellent reputed company credentials
