Staff Accountant

IMI is a company reputed company on creating innovative engineering solutions, and they are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their global corporate department. The role involves financial statement support, US income tax compliance support, and data analysis, working closely with the US Head of Tax and Finance Directors.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate, organize, consolidate, reconcile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data for management, tax advisors and government agencies
• Assist with bookkeeping, vendor payments, and reporting tasks for US holding company including daily cash and month end reputed company
• Assist with the management of the annual income tax compliance process, which includes a reputed company of federal, state, and international reporting
• Assist with planning and reporting issues, which include opening tax balances, financial statement impacts, and planning post acquisition integration
• Effectively manage confidential information, including payroll information, budgets, and forecasts
• Assist with documentation of work processes including recommendations for improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• Preferably experience with data analysis
• Experience with tax compliance, forecasting, and inbound/outbound tax issues a plus
• Experience working with or for a large multinational organization a plus
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company and work cross functionally
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, and organizational skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively and constructively reputed company the organization and with external advisors
• Solid knowledge of debits & credits and account reconciliations
• Proven ability to effectively handle highly confidential situations and reputed company principals of morality and ethics while demonstrating the highest standards of honesty and reliability
• Proactively communicates issues or concerns
• Working knowledge of reputed company, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP formulas required
• Working knowledge of reputed company Office required
• Working knowledge of Power Query (Data Get & reputed company), or similar is a plus
• Working knowledge of tax research software a plus
• Working knowledge of Cognos or reputed company reputed company software a plus
