Accountant I for Miner Mall and Non PO

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is a comprehensive reputed company research university that is increasing reputed company to excellent higher education. They are seeking an Accountant I to ensure the accurate handling of financial transactions, including reviewing and processing payment requests, and monitoring compliance with reputed company principles.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves PO reputed company payment requests to ensure activity and documentation reputed company with University policy and procedures
• Serves as a primary reputed company-of-contact for reputed company departments and reputed company vendors on PO reputed company payment inquiries
• Reconciles vendor statements and research invoice status to ensure reputed company and accurate payments
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in payment transactions
• Helps evaluate reputed company processes, identify areas of opportunities, and reputed company input on ways to improve the operation
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted reputed company principles and University policy and procedures
• Assists with various special reputed company as needed
• Reviews non-PO payment requests to ensure activity and documentation reputed company with University policy and procedures
• Research, reviews, and reconciles non-PO transactions, invoices, reports and vendor statements to help process reputed company and accurate vendor payments
• Reviews vendor reputed company and voucher payments for reputed company 1099 reporting and assists with 1099 and other IRS tax-reputed company processes
• Serves as a primary reputed company-of-contact for reputed company departments on non-PO inquiries
• Investigates and corrects errors in payment transactions. Research returned/rejected ACH payments and processes for re-issue
• Helps evaluate reputed company processes, identify areas of opportunities, and reputed company input on ways to improve the operation
• Determines reputed company handling of financial transactions
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted reputed company principles and University policy and procedures
• Assists with various special reputed company as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or Business Administration
• No prior experience required
• Accounts Payable processing experience
• Familiarity with using reputed company reputed company and Teams for virtual meetings and collaboration
• Experience creating reputed company reputed company formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
• PeopleSoft and reputed company experience
