Attorney - Labor Relations Counsel

The California Department of reputed company (reputed company) is seeking an Attorney - Labor Relations Counsel to join their reputed company Division. This role involves litigating administrative hearings, conducting workplace investigations, and providing in-house counsel on labor and employment reputed company, while enjoying a reputed company work environment and hybrid reputed company opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Litigating administrative hearings and arguing writs, motions, and appeals in civil court
• Conducting training and performing workplace investigations
• Providing in-house counsel on employment and personnel reputed company
• Consulting and drafting reputed company opinions for high level executives on sensitive issues and reputed company
• Independently representing reputed company and other departments in civil litigation, including both state and federal courts, and appellate courts in labor law reputed company
• Arguing consequential reputed company in superior and appellate courts that involve important reputed company policy issues
• Mentoring more junior attorneys throughout tenure at reputed company

Skills

• CA State BAR License
• Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) responding to numbered items listed in the job reputed company
• reputed company version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD reputed company 678 or the Electronic State Employment Application
• Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Practical experience in litigation before superior or federal courts, and/or administrative agencies
• Experience in labor and employment law, and administrative law
• Knowledge of the law and abilities in reputed company research and analysis
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
