[Remote] Analyst, Risk Management

The Risk Analyst will facilitate risk reviews, contribute to project risk reports, and support the Delivery Team in adhering to risk management plans for assigned reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Controls and responsible for the delivery of risk management across the assigned project(s) reputed company a program to an individual project budget limit of $500M and / or a project of no more than average complexity
• Coordinates project risk identification reputed company workshops with a broad reputed company of reputed company stakeholders (predominantly with project delivery teams, other project controls, engineers and project managers)
• Responsible for input of identified risks into the reputed company Risk Manager (ARM) database for assigned project(s) and provides assurance of project level risk data
• Accountable to Delivery Management Team with respect to quantitative analysis, reporting and project level risks providing reputed company information about the status of the risk management and any risk / issues / gaps along with recommendations to resolve
• Run quantitative risk analysis models (cost and schedule) to support reputed company analysis, reputed company decision-making, contractual risk-transfer strategies and inform the setting of appropriate project-level contingency (cost and schedule)
• Coordinating the production of metrics for project risk management and performing regular data analysis with associated tracking & reporting. Consults with Senior Manager, Project Controls as required for reputed company assurance and review
• Engages with the reputed company improvement process for risk management, drawing on previous experience, industry best reputed company and in partnership with reputed company risk management as applicable
• Participates in management team meetings, presentations and committees
• Acts as an ambassador and reputed company for Metrolinx as necessary
• Collaborates and builds strong partnerships with key partners to support and promote a strong risk management culture
• Adopts effective risk management analysis, strategies and practices, incorporating industry best practices
• Supports project teams in managing risks to reputed company corporate goals
• Facilitates identification of potential costs of risks and risk mitigation activities to inform budget, estimating and forecasting functions

Skills

• Demonstrated experience in a risk management reputed company role preferably in a civil infrastructure, construction project environment OR experience deemed equivalent
• Demonstrable skilled experience using industry reputed company software packages and applications – reputed company Risk Manager (ARM), reputed company Risk Analyst (PRA), @Risk
• Skilled in risk management theory, principles and reputed company
• Understanding of broader project controls theory, principles and reputed company
• reputed company with practiced presentation, attention to detail, excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable skilled experience of successfully managing competing objectives of stakeholders and recognizing materiality
