They are seeking a Consumer Collections Specialist responsible for contacting consumers about outstanding insurance premiums, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Contact consumers reputed company phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accounts
- Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company policies
- Document reputed company communications and account updates accurately
- Adhere to federal and state collection laws, including FDCPA
- Meet performance goals and maintain high customer service standards
Skills
- Previous collections or customer service experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to remain reputed company and empathetic during challenging conversations
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
- Bilingual skills
