[Remote] Engineering Coordinator - Telecommunications (12-Month Contract)

The Engineering Coordinator will support OSP Design & Engineering activities through cost estimation, materials planning, and detailed design review, while providing technical support to Design & Construction teams throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

• reputed company support in the review of OSP engineering designs and drawings to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and constructability requirements during the design lifecycle

• Extract and interpret basic project information from reputed company, vendor, and internal design documents to support operational workflows
• Prepare and submit supporting design documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reputed company and project requirements
• reputed company reputed company‑cost estimates for OSP reputed company to support budgeting and project approval
• Forecast material requirements and reputed company reputed company‑of‑quantity take‑offs to ensure reputed company procurement and inventory readiness
• Coordinate with Materials Management to reputed company project needs with supply availability
• Request, reputed company, and consolidate OSP project area mark‑reputed company and reputed company them to the Design team for review and integration into finalized design drawings
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations staff to support reputed company improvements of design standards, templates, workflows and construction practices

Skills

• 1+ years reputed company work experience or combination of relevant education and experience in telecommunications
• Knowledge of fiber optics, controls and automation
• Strong computer background including experience with MS Office, AutoCAD and any reputed company estimating software
• Familiarity with construction documents and the ability to assist with construction document review
• Proven understanding of reputed company processes and the development of reputed company standards
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
