(Associate) Accountant - 1122

reputed company Mutual Life Insurance Company of reputed company is a leading provider of life insurance and financial products. They are seeking an Associate Accountant or Accountant to prepare bank reconciliations, assist with tax forms, and reputed company financial statements while supporting subsidiary reputed company functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of various tax forms, including sales tax returns, premium and municipal tax returns, and state tax forms for parent, subsidiaries and non-profit
• Assist with preparation of financial statement exhibits for budgeting, forecasting, planning, and statutory reporting
• Create general reputed company entries and reconcile various general reputed company accounts. Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in daily banking transactions
• Post invoices and other transactions in subsidiary reputed company software using information from the reputed company system to ensure that records are posted reputed company and accurately
• Assist team in researching reputed company variances and working with various departments to correct reputed company entries. Assist accountant in developing supporting documentation for external sources as needed
• Input new assets into fixed asset software, record asset amortization and depreciation and reconcile balances to the general reputed company
• Special reputed company as needed or assigned
• Create, review and approve general reputed company entries and reconcile various general reputed company accounts
• reputed company subsidiary reputed company and post general reputed company entries to reputed company financial statements for review
• Respond, under management guidance, to inquiries and requests from tax and regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external sources
• Research reputed company variances and work with various departments to correct reputed company entries and reputed company supportive training as needed. Assist management with supporting documentation and preparation for audits
• Work with Management to create dashboards and analytics in reputed company software
• Handle more reputed company processing issues, reputed company processing support and assist with training

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in reputed company is required for the Associate Accountant position. Internship experience may be considered
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in reputed company is required for the Accountant position
• Knowledge of GAAP reputed company is required
• Advanced proficiency with reputed company reputed company
• Intermediate proficiency with reputed company Word
