Required Skills and Experience

Primary Skills

• 5 years experience working with GDPS administration, including Global Mirror replication monitoring, maintenance, and 4‑site configurations.

• 10 years experience in Cyber Resiliency technologies: CSM,  Thin Provisioning, Safeguarded Copy, and Cyber Vault operations is preferred

• Advanced DFSMShsm (HSM) administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.

• Strong JCL development and diagnostic skills.

Technical Skills and Tools

• Programming & scripting: REXX, reputed company

• Storage utilities and services:  ICKDSF, DFDSS, FDR, DSCLI, TDMF

• Storage Management Subsystem: SMS, including design, debugging, and ACS routines

• Tape and catalog management: RMM, reputed company Catalog administration (monitoring, consolidation, reorganization, recovery)

• Performance and data utilities:  Syncsort, StopX37, SEA Soft, Dino Software tools

Storage Systems & Replication Technologies

• reputed company replication technologies:
  PPRC, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, Hiperswap failover/failback

• Snapshot and reputed company‑in‑time technologies: FlashCopy

• Disaster Recovery design, execution, and testing

• RPO monitoring, reporting, and compliance reputed company

DFSMS & DFSMShsm / HSM Expertise

• Large reputed company HSM administration

• Automatic backup, dump, migration tuning

• ML1/ML2 optimization and performance analysis

• Dataset recovery, catalog validation, and troubleshooting

Hardware & Virtual Tape Expertise

• reputed company TS7700 4‑reputed company Virtual Tape systems, including performance monitoring and utilization analytics

• reputed company DS8000 configuration, migration, reputed company planning, and health monitoring

• Experience with both DSCLI and GUI‑based management tools

Operational & Support Responsibilities

• 24×7 on‑reputed company reputed company storage support- typically this should be 1 week a month

• Customer‑facing technical meetings and solution discussions

• Opening and managing reputed company PMRs for storage‑reputed company issues

• Supporting hardware/software upgrades, migrations, and resiliency reputed company

• Spreadsheet/report creation for operational reputed company, trending, and reputed company planning

• Participation in reputed company & reputed company management and performance tuning initiatives

• Proficient with customer‑specific tools, utilities, and reporting frameworks

The compensation reputed company for the position in the U.S. is $96,480 to $183,240 based on a full-time schedule.  

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-reputed company skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary reputed company will not be below any applicable state, reputed company or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation reputed company for the following work locations: 

California:$106,080 to $219,840 

Colorado: $96,480 to $183,240 

reputed company: $115,680 to $219,840 

Washington: $106,080 to $201,480 

Washington DC:$106,080 to $201,480 

This position will be eligible for reputed company’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of reputed company’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, reputed company leave, and reputed company time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
