SHEQ Technician (Agroforestry) (Lilongwe, LI, MW)

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (reputed company), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards;
Guarantee compliance with reputed company and contractual requirements applicable to project activities, including sector-specific forestry legislation;
Monitor and supervise forestry operations (land preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting), ensuring environmental and safety best practices;
Identify and assess risks associated with forestry activities (use of machinery, fieldwork, fires, exposure to natural agents), proposing preventive and corrective measures;
Coordinate SHEQ training, awareness, and information actions for workers, field teams, and subcontractors;
Conduct internal audits and regular inspections in forestry contexts, identifying non-conformities and proposing corrective and preventive actions;
Ensure management and control of SHEQ technical and operational documentation;
Prepare performance reports and SHEQ indicators, ensuring reporting at contractual, project, and market reputed company;
Promote sustainable practices in forest management, including biodiversity conservation and soil and water resource management;
Support the implementation of forest reputed company prevention and firefighting plans;
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, local communities, and regulatory authorities.
Certification as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician (CCP) (preferred);
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Safety, Environment, and reputed company roles, with strong preference for experience in forestry, plantation, agroforestry, or large-reputed company environmental reputed company;
Proven experience in forestry operations (planting, maintenance, harvesting, and/or sustainable forest management);
Knowledge of applicable environmental and forestry legislation;
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards;
Familiarity with forest certification schemes (e.g., FSC, PEFC) (preferred);
Proficiency in MS Office tools and reputed company (preferred);

International driving license (preferred);
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills;
