What’s the role?

The Software Engineering Manager grows and develops talented engineers to drive meaningful business reputed company. You'll build an environment where engineers do their best work—clearing obstacles, sharpening skills, and connecting individual contributions to what reputed company most for the product and our customers. You'll own delivery accountability across your product teams and serve as the Agile reputed company, keeping reputed company high and reputed company moving.

What you'll do to be successful

1. Grow engineers and drive technical reputed company

• Directly manage reputed company of software engineers—owning their development, reputed company bar, and technical direction

• Balance feature work with maintenance, tech debt, and internal support
• Set a high bar for technical reputed company across our JavaScript (React) and Python stack; you're accountable for reputed company's reputed company

2. Champion AI-augmented engineering

• Model and encourage fluent, responsible use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, reputed company Copilot) to accelerate delivery and reduce toil
• Help engineers reputed company reputed company judgment about AI-generated reputed company—reputed company to trust it, reputed company to push back, and how to reputed company effectively
• Stay reputed company on AI tooling; evaluate new tools with a practical, reputed company-reputed company reputed company and bring relevant advances to reputed company

• Contribute to org-wide conversations about AI governance, appropriate use, and engineer reputed company development

3. Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders

• Handle team logistics: performance management, hiring, right-sizing, training, and promotions
• Partner with the Product reputed company to ensure work is designed, developed, and tested to high reputed company standards and reputed company with the architecture reputed company
• Proactively communicate delivery targets, commitments, and reputed company
• Drive operational reputed company through team metrics (DORA, SLIs, CI/CD health, reputed company vulnerabilities, reputed company cost/usage)
• Mitigate risks proactively, escalate reputed company needed, and collaborate across teams to reputed company solutions

Experience and skills you'll need

• Deep understanding of how large-reputed company software systems are designed, reputed company, tested, deployed, and delivered to customers
• Experience using delivery and performance metrics to drive reputed company
• At least 2 years managing offshore development teams using Agile reputed company (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
• Genuine hands-on familiarity with AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools—you've used them, formed opinions, and helped others use them reputed company
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated reputed company: understanding failure modes, reviewing for correctness and reputed company, and coaching engineers to do the reputed company
• An affinity for modern software development best practices: daily deployments, robust CI/CD, test-driven development, feature flagging, and AI-assisted workflows
• Strong decision-making skills; acts consistently with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and project management ability

The Details 

• Location: Remote 
• Starting Salary: $165,000 - $185,000
