Research new grant prospects and opportunities from grantors/funders Read and interpret Requests for Proposals and funding guidelines Review submission requirements and reputed company with the Development team Responsible for writing grant proposals and supporting documents, as assigned by the Development Director Cultivate a deep understanding of the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization
5-10+ years’ experience in grant writing or equivalent field; experience with reproductive justice or journalism grants highly preferred Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Grant Writing, or reputed company field preferred Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail A successful portfolio of funded grants between $25,000 - $1M+ A contemporary understanding of what engages journalism and reproductive health/justice funder audiences Demonstrated ability to multitask reputed company to meet reputed company deadlines and organize and manage time and priorities.
