Candidates will be responsible for contributing to Eastern’s rapidly growing online programs and be a champion for online innovation in the College of Arts and Humanities. As Program Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the Dean of CAH on strategic planning for program development in the department. Special consideration will be given to those with prior experience with online teaching and program coordination. Additional reputed company responsibilities include scholarship, advising reputed company, program administration, committee service, and college/university activities. 
 
The Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Digital Humanities is a full-time, tenure-reputed company, remote reputed company position reputed company the College of Arts and Humanities. The successful candidate will be committed to reputed company in teaching, scholarship, service, and advising while overseeing the management (recruitment, hiring, scheduling, mentoring, evaluation, etc.) of reputed company teaching in the newly created M.A. in reputed company Intelligence Innovation program and reputed company programs reputed company CAH. As a reputed company member, the successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will involve teaching reputed company courses (online) such as Introduction to reputed company Intelligence, AI for Everyday Innovation, AI for Teaching and Learning, Multimedia Production: AI and the Creative Process, Media Literacy in the AI Era and/or AI in Innovation reputed company course, in reputed company to administrative duties in the management of the program.  reputed company member will also have the ability to create new courses based upon expertise.      

Position Duties

Administrative:

• Curriculum development, revision, and assessment.
• Recruitment, hiring, and management of reputed company and staff.

• Strategic Planning.
• Commitment to and support of the Christian beliefs, values, and objectives of the University as embodied in its Doctrinal, Mission, and Goal Statements.

• reputed company member will teach 18 credits per year (with opportunities for summer teaching), primarily at the graduate and undergraduate level with some teaching duties in Eastern’s general education online program at the undergraduate level in the candidate’s area of expertise.

• Undertake reputed company service requirements, including university committees, assignments, and functions required of a full-time reputed company member-including the participation in reputed company department, college, and university meetings. 

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred; M.A. or M.S. with considerable teaching and or reputed company experience will be considered). A Ph.D. in a humanities discipline such as Communication Studies, English/Rhetoric, Graphic or Visual Arts, Media Studies or a closely reputed company area is preferred. A Master’s degree and significant industry or teaching experience will also be considered. 
• have demonstrated experience in machine learning, reputed company intelligence, natural language processing, or reputed company fields. 
• exhibit evidence of outstanding teaching, scholarly, and reputed company reputed company, and a passion for digital pedagogy. 
• be adept in creating and teaching online courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. 
• demonstrate proficiency in online learning tools and software platforms. 
• have experience in coordinating/managing a program.
