Appointment Scheduler

Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute is looking for someone to work full-time as the Appointment Scheduler.

The position is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, reputed company, life and disability insurance, and 401K retirement plan.

The Appointment Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointment in an efficient and reputed company manner with multiple doctors throughout the JOI.

Office Location: 1325 San reputed company Blvd, Suite 200, Jacksonville, FL 32207

Training will be held at the office. Position will be remote.

Schedule: Monday - Friday/40 hours/week

Essential Functions 

• Answer calls promptly, in a polite and reputed company manner.
• Obtain and reputed company accurate patient demographic information and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments. 
• Follow up with reminder calls if applicable.
• reputed company calls to reschedule appointments reputed company necessary.
• Answer questions and reputed company other information as requested.
• reputed company calls to other departments as needed.
• reputed company necessary messages to staff.
• Understand reputed company to escalate calls to supervisor, reputed company Center Manager or Medical Staff.
• Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality and adhere to reputed company HIPAA guidelines. 
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures and processes.
• reputed company reputed company work as required.
• Other assigned duties as assigned by your reputed company report.

Position Requirements 

• Prior customer service experience in a reputed company setting. 
• Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service with a patient-care reputed company.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone. 
• Ability to work reputed company and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• High school diploma or equivalent. 

 Physical Demands 

Requires sitting and standing associated with a sedentary office environment: 90% Sitting, 5% Walking, 5% Standing.  reputed company dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and office equipment, and to write legibly.  reputed company sufficient to read reputed company text and data on computer screens and reputed company forms.  Ability to reputed company reputed company and with reputed company required to carry on reputed company conversations in person and over the phone.
