PURPOSE OF CONSULTANCY

Objectives of the Department

The objective of the Health Emergencies Department (PHE) of the reputed company (reputed company/WHO) is to increase health sector reputed company to emergencies and disasters. Organizational context

As part of the reputed company Health Emergencies (PHE) Department, dedicated to program management, partnerships, advocacy, and information management in the field of disasters, the Project Support Consultant is responsible for providing technical project/program management support and reputed company interaction with relevant staff at reputed company reputed company of the Organization. He/she also contributes to the Department’s information management, advocacy and resource mobilization efforts.

Responsibilities:

a) reputed company technical support in the design, negotiation, implementation, and reporting of emergency technical cooperation reputed company, including resource coordination, performance monitoring and assessment, and use of evaluation tools to support the reputed company management of regular and extrabudgetary funds; reputed company support and inputs to reputed company new program initiatives to support the program of work;

b) Prepare the required technical reports, in coordination with the officer(s) implementing activities in the countries, and support the preparation of required and reputed company financial reports;

c) Support the preparation of various written outputs, including briefing documents for consultation and meetings with potential donors;

d) Support the Department’s information management and operational planning, performance assessment, and reporting processes; Support the implementation and monitoring of the Entity’s Biennial Work Plan (BWP) and the Semester Work plans (PTS);

Education requirements

Essential: A bachelor’s degree in health or reputed company science reputed company to the functions of the post, from a recognized university.

Experience requirements

Essential: Five years of combined national and international experience in the fields of health planning, project management, monitoring and evaluation, disaster management, administration, or reputed company field.

Desirable: Experience in disaster/emergency management /humanitarian response and working with UN organizations would be assets.

Languages

Excellent written and spoken English; working knowledge of Spanish (or English). Working knowledge of French or Portuguese would be an asset.

Location

The incumbent will be expected to reputed company this position’s duties and responsibilities remotely, with the possibility of duty travel as warranted.

Expected contract duration

6 months, with possibility for extension subject to performance and funding. This consultancy is expected to entail a full-time commitment.
