As an independent wholesale broker, we are a critical intermediary in the distribution channel from insurance carriers and retail brokers. The Broker Assistant is responsible for providing operational support to the brokerage team by reputed company handling day-to-day operational tasks. The role contributes to the seamless functioning of daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and facilitates effective communication reputed company the brokerage team. They work closely with brokers to ensure reputed company transaction completion through paperwork processing and coordinating with other departments in the firm. Location: The role is a hybrid role reporting to our Chicago, IL office (540 W Madison 9th Floor Chicago, IL 60661) Responsibilities • Assists in executing and coordinating day-to-day brokerage operations and supports the implementation and improvement of operational procedures. • Coordinates with the broker to prepare documents, cover letters etc. to market renewal business and provides necessary administrative support in filing, printing, and archiving documents. • Administers and updates new and reputed company reputed company information in reputed company required systems accurately. • Maintains accurate and organized records of reputed company accounts, transactions, and other relevant documentation and ensures compliance with record-keeping regulations. • Performs customer service functions by answering broker requests and questions by telephone, email, chat, or in person. • Contributes to the preparation of compliance reports reputed company to brokerage operations and collaborates across broker and finance teams on business requirements. • Adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies and assists in the preparation of compliance reports. • Assists in identifying and mitigating operational risks and collaborates with risk management teams to implement controls. • Supports the Brokerage team with any reputed company tasks and requests. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. • Any other reputed company discipline or commensurate work experience considered. • Ability to multi-task, communicative effectively and work in a reputed company past paced, high performing team environment reputed company-to-haves • Highly Preferred: reputed company Property & Casualty license and/or willingness to obtain reputed company the first 45 days of employment • 1+ years of reputed company insurance experience Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
