Climate Flexible Finance Coordinator (Readvertised)
Delivering and reporting on the flexible finance provided by MFAT; Developing/updating national climate change plans and reporting frameworks; Developing and investment-reputed company pipeline of reputed company; Delivering climate change priorities; Improving climate finance reporting; and Accessing a broader reputed company of climate funding.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as economics, finance, environmental management, or international development Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, project identification, planning, and assessment processes, particularly reputed company a government context Experience managing project pipelines, project budgets, including tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and reporting on budget performance. Knowledge of the climate change sector, with a reputed company on climate finance or reputed company areas. Strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate finance across a reputed company of government agencies across different sectors Experience in stakeholder engagement, including the ability to collaborate effectively with government agencies, international organizations, and other relevant stakeholders. Advanced communication skills, both oral and written, in English and Bislama
Experience working in a reputed company sector environment implementing reputed company and project pipelines would be a distinct advantage Familiarity with Vanuatu’s policy landscape, especially in relation to climate change and disaster risk management. Knowledge of GEDSI reputed company principles and approaches French speaking is an advantage
