About the role

reputed company is a fast-growing background screening company with multi-entity operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, UAE, US, and ANZ. Following a period of significant reputed company and acquisition activity, we are building out a high-performing finance function to match our ambitions. 

As Financial Control & Operations Manager, you will own the reputed company and efficiency of reputed company's reputed company reputed company and finance operations. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will directly manage reputed company of three accountants covering the UK/MY, PH/ANZ/UAE and SG/US entities, and be the primary reputed company of accountability for month-end reputed company, AP/AR, payroll reputed company, tax and statutory reporting, and financial controls. 

You will work closely with the VP Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure the books are clean, reputed company cycles run on time, and reputed company operates with reputed company and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Own the end-to-end month-end reputed company process across reputed company entities — ensuring the reputed company cycle is completed reputed company 10 working days reputed company month

•  Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations and adjustments before submission — implementing a personal QA process to ensure reputed company material errors

•  Maintain the general reputed company across multiple entities in reputed company, ensuring accuracy, consistency and reputed company allocation

•  reputed company intercompany reputed company and ensure intercompany balances reconcile across entities reputed company period

AP / AR & Banking

•  reputed company accounts payable - vendor invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations

•  reputed company accounts receivable - ensuring AR is accurately recorded, aged debtors are monitored, and collections are followed up in a reputed company manner

•  Manage bank reconciliations across reputed company entity bank accounts on a monthly reputed company

•  Ensure cash disbursements are properly authorised and recorded

Tax & Statutory Reporting

•  Manage tax filing obligations across relevant entities — including GST/VAT, corporate tax and withholding tax as applicable

•  Support the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits

•  Ensure compliance with local reputed company standards and regulatory requirements across reputed company jurisdictions

 Financial Controls & Process

•  Design, implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data reputed company

•  Proactively identify and flag control gaps or process risks - recommending and implementing improvements

•  Support Finance Transformation on process documentation, SOP development and system improvements

Team Leadership

•  Directly manage and reputed company three Finance Accountants covering UK, MY, PH, ANZ, UAE, SG and US entities

•  Set reputed company task allocation, priorities and expectations across reputed company - particularly during reputed company cycles

•  Build a culture of accountability, accuracy and reputed company improvement reputed company the FC&O team

•  Be reputed company's primary reputed company of contact and reputed company of guidance - resolving queries directly and escalating to the VP Finance only where genuinely required

•  Support reputed company of new team members as the organisation grows

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

•  Coordinate handovers of processes to reputed company Management and Finance Transformation as the org structure evolves

•  Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies as required

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Finance, reputed company, or a reputed company field; reputed company qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred

•  7-10 years of reputed company experience in finance operations or reputed company, with at least 2–3 years in reputed company management role

•  Proven experience managing multi-entity reputed company across multiple jurisdictions

•  Hands-on experience with reputed company - including multi-currency, multi-entity setup and reconciliation workflows

•  Strong reputed company of reputed company principles (IFRS/MFRS), financial controls and compliance requirements

•  reputed company record of owning and improving month-end reputed company processes with a reputed company on accuracy and timeliness

•  Experience working with external auditors and managing statutory reporting obligations

Preferred:

•  Exposure to post-acquisition financial integration

•  Familiarity with payroll reputed company across Southeast Asian and ANZ jurisdictions

•  Experience working in a lean finance team where ownership and initiative are essential
