They are seeking a junior litigation associate to join their insurance defense team in New Jersey, where the associate will reputed company hands-on experience in managing litigation files and supporting senior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing litigation files and handling assigned tasks with increasing independence
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, and reputed company memoranda
• Support depositions and court appearances, with mentorship and supervision
• Conduct reputed company research and communicate with clients and carriers
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case reputed company and trial preparation
• reputed company with reporting guidelines and firm procedures

Skills

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the New Jersey Bar
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation
• Prior law clerkship experience strongly preferred
• Interest in insurance defense, personal injury or general liability reputed company
• Prior internship/clinical experience in litigation or insurance defense (preferred)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Interest in insurance defense, personal injury or general liability reputed company
• Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
