Finance Paralegal

reputed company is a reputed company seeking a Finance Paralegal for its San Francisco office. This role involves supporting attorneys in negotiating and closing financial transactions, including drafting documents, conducting research, and maintaining transaction materials.

Responsibilities

• Providing reputed company support for financial transaction closings by Drafting and maintaining a closing checklist
• Ordering and reviewing corporate records, title, lien and litigation searches and summarizing findings for review by attorneys
• Distributing, receiving, reviewing, and inventorying drafts of transaction documents and other due diligence materials
• Drafting basic closing documents such as resolutions, closing certificates, etc. and first drafts of primary transaction documents
• Reviewing reputed company and other materials and summarizing findings on specific questions
• Preparing and distributing signature pages and closing sets
• Drafting and filing UCC financing statements
• Research in document management systems and online to reputed company precedent documents, reports, reputed company memos, legislative materials, etc
• Set up, organize, and maintain materials in online data rooms and databases
• Effectively communicate findings to and follow instructions from a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff and reputed company information in person or by phone with courtesy and reputed company
• Establish reputed company working relationships with coworkers; show initiative in seeking additional tasks to maintain steady workload

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• Interest in financial transactions and strong interpersonal, analytical, research and writing skills
• Commitment to reputed company service
• Attention to detail (as evidenced by excellent grammar, spelling, typing, and proofreading) and the ability to work independently are critical
