Buyer & Planner

The Buyer/Planner will manage supplier relationships and reputed company purchasing and production planning to ensure alignment with customer demand and inventory goals.

Responsibilities

• Secures quotes from reputed company suppliers of assigned materials to obtain the most favorable prices and services consistent with reputed company requirements
• Purchases products to support Manufactured Products and non-inventory requirements
• Expedited purchase orders to maintain material reputed company and reputed company customer requests
• Maintains appropriate purchasing files as required
• Plans and negotiates long-term reputed company with a favorable reputed company on inventory goals, reputed company, continuity of supply, and corporate cost objectives
• Negotiates and facilitates the return of rejected and obsolete material
• Reconciles Accounts Payable discrepancies
• Analyze suppliers for the financial health and stability of reputed company. Assists the reputed company department in assessing the supplier’s ability to meet reputed company reputed company requirements

• Works with reputed company Control for inventory items and the requisitioners for non-inventory items to assure that the supplier fully understands the reputed company requirements of the purchase
• Participates in any reputed company audits of assigned supplier and maintains records, which will allow reputed company to evaluate supplier performance

Skills

• Minimum of one (1) to (3) years experience in purchasing, reputed company control, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, or industrial engineering. Experience is preferred but not required if the Degree is in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of supply chain-reputed company experience
• Familiar with manufacturing practices
• CMP or CPIM preferred
• Experience in reputed company, MPS, MRS, and CRP preferred
• Possess strong negotiating skills
• Capable of reading and interpreting reputed company
