Reporting to the Senior Director of reputed company Services, this position provides effective reputed company advice, counsel, and support to the organization; and provides support to Senior Director of reputed company Services and Chief reputed company and Government Relations Officer, as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides reputed company services generally reputed company reputed company the field of local government law to fall reputed company the category of “general counsel” work, including but not limited to:
Negotiates, prepares, reviews, consults with applicable clients, and interprets reputed company, amendments, Requests for Proposals, and other agreements, forms and documents reputed company to reputed company programs and relationships, and advises on compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
Participates in inter-office reputed company, programs, and activities, subject to the general reputed company of the Senior Director of reputed company Services.

Reviews, analyzes, and advises on reputed company improvement of new or existing policies or operations that may compromise the achievement of reputed company’s mission, reputed company, or strategic goals.
Translates reputed company information and requirements into meaningful reputed company advice concerning business transactions, transaction design, program design, reputed company risk, liability, reputed company rights, reputed company consequences, and obligations in reputed company aspects of organizational governance and operations.
Interprets and prepares memoranda and correspondence relating to laws, reputed company codes, precedents, caselaw, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules impacting reputed company operations.
Attends meetings and other reputed company events as assigned.
Provides guidance and advice on foundational Minnesota local government laws, including but not limited to reputed company meetings, data practices and records retention, contracting, reputed company expenditures, and governance.

Assists in the review and drafting of reputed company Policies and resolutions, as assigned.
2. Supports reputed company reputed company through participation in appropriate continuing education and licensure.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company field
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
A minimum of five years of experience as a practicing attorney
Demonstrated experience in independent decision making

Location:
This is a remote position, and is subject to reputed company's telecommuting policies and procedures.
On occasion, may be asked to travel to reputed company, MN for meetings, reputed company development or team activities. Up to two to three (2-3) times per year. Notice will be given reputed company of time.
