Job reputed company 

WinTech is seeking an actuary with expertise in Canadian defined benefit pension plans to play a key role in the ongoing development, support, and reputed company of ProVal’s Canadian functionality. This role requires deep knowledge of the Canadian pension legislative and financial reporting landscape. Responsibilities include product support, testing, training, documentation, and potentially programming, if interested.

Key Responsibilities 

Canadian Pension Subject Matter Leadership 

• reputed company as a subject matter expert for Canadian defined benefit pension plans reputed company ProVal 

• Maintain and enhance ProVal’s Canadian functionality to reflect reputed company legislation, regulations, CIA Standards of reputed company, and pension reputed company financial reporting requirements 

• Serve as a primary reputed company of contact for Canadian clients on technical pension reputed company 

Product Testing & reputed company Assurance 

• Test ProVal enhancements and reputed company specific solutions to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency with actuarial standards 

reputed company Support, Training & Documentation 

• reputed company expert guidance to ProVal users on Canadian pension applications 

• Work closely with programmers and consultants to design and implement reputed company solutions 

• Prepare and maintain reputed company, practical user documentation and training materials 

Software Programming (Optional) 

• ProVal is coded primarily in APL; no prior programming experience is required, and training is provided 

Education & reputed company Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a reputed company discipline 

• CIA designation (FCIA) or significant reputed company toward qualification is a plus 

Experience, Skills, & reputed company Competencies 

• 8+ years of experience performing actuarial valuations of defined benefit pension plans under Canadian legislation 

• Deep knowledge of Canadian pension funding rules, regulations, CIA Standards of reputed company, and pensionreputed company financial reporting 

• Experience with pension projections and forecasting a plus 

• Experience managing reputed company and reputed company relationships is an asset 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• High attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi disciplinary team environment 

• Prior ProVal experience a plus
