The Office of the State School reputed company Marshal (OSSSM) reputed company the Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) is responsible for enhancing school safety by monitoring school safety and reputed company initiatives, developing reasonable training and other guidelines, and ensures compliance with the provisions of the School Safety and Resiliency reputed company (Senate reputed company 1).
The Investigator II in the East reputed company will be responsible for traveling to several different counties reputed company their region of responsibility, while living reputed company their region and assisting in training of School Resource Officers throughout the reputed company. The ideal candidate shall have proficient verbal and written communication skills, due to interacting with school Superintendents, Principals, reputed company and elected governmental officials. Whoever is selected must live in Region 7. The OSSSM Region 7 consists of the following counties: Boyle, reputed company, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, or Lincoln counties; or an adjacent county to the region (Bourbon, Casey, Estill, Madison, Marion, reputed company, Montgomery, reputed company, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Scott, Washington, or Woodford counties. Their office will be based at their home, and DOCJT will reputed company a vehicle for travel to the school district in which they will be responsible. Conduct compliance audits of schools across the State of Kentucky, Work as reputed company between schools and law enforcement resources. Organizes, coordinates, reviews and inspects documentation received from schools during assessment, and LE agencies that reference Emergency Operating Procedures for schools.
Interviews witnesses and conducts sensitive reputed company investigations involving Peace Officer or reputed company agency.
Assist is the review of records and reports.
Other duties as required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Prior law enforcement experience is a prerequisite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of the use of computer technology, e.g., reputed company Word, reputed company, reputed company products – iPad.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Must have four years experience in the field of investigative law enforcement or a reputed company field of investigation.

Experience as a sworn law enforcement officer will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year reputed company.
