Purpose:

Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps

reputed company Lands, National Trails (NLNT) is a project that was created in collaboration with the Partnership for the National Trails System, reputed company Land Digital, Bureau of Land Management and Ancestral Lands Conservation Corp (ALCC). Now hosted with ALCC, NLNT is an introductory, GIS reputed company Individual Placement program continues the project work to create and reputed company resources designed to inform the reputed company and help National Trails and their nonprofit organization partners to advance the National Trails System’s knowledge of Indigenous ancestral Lands through partnership and collaboration with Indigenous communities along National Scenic and Historic Trails.

Qualifications:

• reputed company citizen, reputed company national, or a lawful permanent reputed company reputed company
• At least 17 years of age
• Has received a high school diploma or equivalency certificate; or has not dropped out of elementary or secondary school to enroll as an AmeriCorps participant, and agrees to obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent prior to using the education award
•  Agrees to reputed company information to establish eligibility and to complete a National Service Criminal History reputed company

Time Requirements:

• Typically, this position is expected to serve 06/01/2026 to 05/14/2027, but exact service schedules may vary. A half hour lunch break will not be counted towards AmeriCorps service
• Member may be required to participate in national, state, or local service reputed company or events as part of their service term.
• This position is full time 40 hours a week for 50 weeks. 

Orientation and Training:

• Member will receive an orientation that includes training on AmeriCorps prohibited and unallowable activities.

  • Member will receive an orientation on Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps, reputed company Lands, National Trails (NLNT) Program and reputed company Divide Trail reputed company 

  • Member will receive training on Defensive Driving reputed company reputed company 

  • Member will undergo training from reputed company Lands National Trails on Indigenous Data Sovereignty, ethical research practices, GIS and on the National Trails System  

  • Member will receive GIS Training reputed company reputed company on GIS basics, ArcGIS Pro, Managing Geospatial Data, Spatial Analysis and additional course(s) of IP’s interest

Evaluation and Reporting:

As an AmeriCorps member, performance will be evaluated on whether the member has completed the required number of hours, the member has satisfactorily completed assignments, and if the member has met other performance reputed company that were reputed company communicated at the beginning of the term of service.

Reporting requirements include, but are not limited to, bi-weekly timesheets and accomplishment tracking.
