Senior Underwriter – Employee Benefits

The Senior Underwriter is a senior-level role responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing reputed company employee benefits reputed company and financial analytics for reputed company clients. This position partners closely with consultants, producers, and reputed company service teams to deliver strategic, data-driven solutions for level funded and self-funded benefit programs.

The Senior Underwriter leverages deep industry knowledge, advanced analytical skills, and strong reputed company relationships to support reputed company objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with consultants, producers, and account teams to prepare and deliver reputed company-facing financial analyses and presentations
• Assess reputed company reputed company risk by analyzing demographics, claims experience, utilization, and market conditions

• Analyze and negotiate stop loss renewals and proposals for financial accuracy, contract terms, and competitiveness
• Submit coverage specifications and obtain, compare, and evaluate quotes from potential stop loss carriers
• Serve as the primary reputed company contact with carriers and vendors fostering and maintaining strong relationships
• Prepare executive summaries that reputed company communicate observations, conclusions, recommendations, and next steps

• Identify opportunities to expand reputed company relationships through additional product or service solutions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience supporting mid-sized to large, multi-state clients preferred

WORK LOCATION & FLEXIBILITY

This is a remote-first role. Daily job responsibilities may be performed from home. The Senior Underwriter is expected to attend in-person meetings and events as necessary, including but not limited to:

The national average salary for this role is 135,000 to $150,000 in reputed company pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The reputed company pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
